Dear Friends, Regulars, Wandering Craft Beer Lovers, and Travelers Near and From Afar...As the mildly cold breeze whispers through the ponderosa pines in the Black Hills this Christmas Day 2025, we find ourselves reflecting on what an incredible year it’s been since we opened our doors on March 27. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to each and every one of you who’ve walked through those doors—whether you’re a local who’s become like family or a traveler from afar. We’ve had the humble privilege of serving over 10,000 guests from all corners of the globe, including friends from France, New Zealand, Australia, Italy, Germany, Japan, England, and so many more. It’s been a joy watching you pour your own pints from our 28 rotating self-pour taps, savor our scratch-made pizzas made with organic 00 flour, dig into our artisan hot dogs and hoagies sourced from local ranchers, and unwind in our cozy spot with games, live music, and that creative Black Hills spirit in the air. All of our Beef and Bison products are sourced from local ranchers and are naturally fed. Grass. Sun. Water. That's it! No corn, no hormones, no feedlots. Just what God gave us!

I need an option for 10 stars. Do not sleep on Prairie Dog. The atmosphere is great, owners and staff are over the top friendly, but the food is the real star. Pizza and cheesesteak were both phenomenal. Hands down some of the best food in the Black Hills.

Go here, seriously. My favorite dining experience in years. The owners are there running the place and their passion clearly shows. The pizza was amazing. The beer selectio that you can pour yourself, amazing. We went with our 9 and 6 year old, there are some old school arcade games, board games, some adult beer games like bags and ring hook. There’s outside seating near a creek. Why are you still reading this!? Do yourself a favor and go.
